Learning Target
Read and comprehend complex literary and informational texts independently and proficiently.
Daily Activity:
Respond to the presenters journal prompt and read "My Best White Friend." We discussed the prompt and each student has been assigned a discussion question. We will complete the discussion tomorrow. Absent people are responsible for the reading essay, journal prompt and discussion questions: 10 points.

Reminders/Due Dates:
Reaction/response and rough draft (evidence of writing process) due on Monday, 11/9. Submit a copy of the article you responded to as well.
