Thurs 10/29 The Lesson

Develop a topic by selecting the most significant and relevant facts.
Construct writing such that each new element builds on that which precedes it to create a unified whole.

Daily Activity:
Springfield Reader discussion: Alyssa and Becca, "The Lesson"
Get a copy of their essay, read, respond to the journal prompt and react/respond to the piece. At least one page response (in addition to the journal prompt) is expected demonstrating having read the entire piece. (10 points)

Reminders/Due Dates:
First draft (typed) reaction paper due on Friday for peer review. Bring a copy of the article.

Wed-Thurs: Work on presentation. You will need completed annotations for this.

You will need an article on which to base a reaction/response paper. Assigned prior to break.
By Thursday, submit your typed annotations. (Due Wednesday.)
